Importing Blogger Content to Drupal Using Wordpress

When I first started blogging in 2004 I signed up for a Blogger account to get on this blogging bandwagon.  We secured dogstar.org in the late 90’s and ran a small site on an LC III running Quid Pro Quo from a shared Ethernet connection in the Blacksburg Electronic Village.  I wasn’t blogging at that point-but I was writing about my thesis work and posting it to the site.  If you are interested in how dreadful the site looked back then, try looking on the WayBackMachine.  I actively blogged on blogger between 2004-2006 when I started playing with Drupal.  I cross posted for a time and then pretty much abandoned my Blogger account until I started using ping.fm.  ping.fm became a way for me to “store” all my tweets and generated 1000’s of individual posts.

ping.fm and My Unused Blogger Blog

On August 6, 2004 I began blogging on blogger. On October 31, 2006 I began using this site. On April 18, 2007 I ceased using my Blogger account. I had been cross-posting between this site and Blogger using Qumana. Requirements from Google had changed for posting using a tool like Qumana and had become tired of maintaining both sites. The blogger site became fallow and wasn't used. Occasionally there was a comment or two on old posts and for whatever reason get traffic--not a lot, but some.

Jott!

Jott! is a note taking service for your cell phone.  Basically the idea is this--you need to take a note, you don't have the time to write it down (or don't have a pen and paper handy), but you do have your cell phone.  Speed dial Jott!'s number, say "Jott Note" and carefully say your note.  Within a few minutes it has been transcribed and is available to you on the Web.

Day 1

This blogspace is going to be devoted to a couple of things. First, I'm an artist living in Colorado. I plan on posting work in progress and finished pieces. Second, I will post photos that may or may not be art. You decide.
