There is a a lot of dissent out there in the United States. The citizenry is tired of wars and unemployment. The bickering that has been going on in Congress is miserable. We have the Republicans who have made it their mission to prevent things from getting done and are vowing to the making Obama a one term president the top agenda item. We have the Democrats who have been less flexible than they could be in compromising with the Republicans.

The past nine months of watching campaigning and recently, the intense attack ads on both sides from third parties has been exhausting. I for one, will be glad for the polls closing so we get respite for the next few months before it all starts again.

I understand if you don't feel like voting. But please, think about what matters to you in this country. If you don't vote, you are giving up your right to exercise your opinion in a way that really matters (whether it is to keep incumbents or elect new officials).
